Oops, Correct. They only change for the HDs was the wheel bolt pattern in 13.

As said before, I have both engines - 2007 GMC Classic 2500HD 4x4 Duramax and 2013 Chevy G4500 with 6.0, 4.10 rears. NEITHER is noisy! Duramax is quieter going up mountains. You can have normal conversations in the cab going 70 mph on level road in either. Diesel collects water if you leave the tank cap off. Had Dodge Cummins dually in prior life and had to drain the water filter on several occasions, but have not had to drain filter on GMC during the 85000 miles I've put on it. You guys bashing the 07 Classic Durmax LBZ need to talk with folks who pull for a living. That's a highly favored engine/transmission combo. But as I said before, the 6.0 (which has variable valve timing and not to be confused with it's predecessors) with 4.10 rears pulls really good, and if you have 5k or less annual towing mileage, an excellent (would be my) choice. I stand by my mileage figures in the prior posts. Seems like there's always someone with an axe to grind.

Didn't they also change in '10 or '11? I had an '11 2500 HD and for the life of me could not find a used rim.

When camping season is done. I drive around till the tank almost empty then put in winter fuel for us in Iowa. Then truck sits in driveway all winter till about March. I do start it up once a week and let it run to temperature, it's also plugged into a block heater on a timer. For about 4 hours. So far no issues on the fuel side. But def fluid does freeze up when it really cold outside, when that happens the def and engine light comes on, but when temp outside rises light goes out. But otherwise a very good truck

I own a 2007 Chevy Duramax Diesel with 97,500 miles on it and I have replaced a Glow Plug since I bought it new in 2007. I think 2008 and above years have a type of catylitic converter installed which reduces the horsepower by 8-10%. My DW wants me to replace the spark plugs during the 100,000 mile tune up!!!!! (:>)

Well if you are doing the plugs you just as well get a cap and a set of wires to go along with them.

Have you replaces the muffler bearings yet?

WOW! I can't believe ANYONE would have to ask this question! Is there any other truck out there besides a RAM w/6.7 CUMMINS and a 68RFE trans??? I should think not. The answer is simple.
