Opinions on WD

Ok I have a Rockwood Roo 23ikss max gvwr of 6684
TV 2018 Ram 1500 bighorn 5.7l , 3.92 gvwr 6900 payload 1680, towing capacity 10300, max gcvwr 15975
Hitch EQ 4point 1000/10000

So I hit the Cat scale 4 times, first just TV with family, full tank of gas
2nd TV + TT no WD
3rd TV + TT w/ WD,
After not being happy with 3rd ticket I went and readjusted the how the TT was loaded, removed a bunch of stuff we really don't use, and moved stuff like the Anderson levelers, x-chock and lynx levelers to the outside storage above the rear axle. Also the 2nd and 3rd ticket had no water in FW tank.

So filled the FW as we camp April-May with no hookups June-Sept have hookups. To adjust for the FW tank I removed 1 washer giving me the 4th ticket. Only concern now is TT axle weight rating which is 3000lbs each axle. But at the same time I regained 260lbs of payload on TV. I can move the Anderson levelers and such back to the front storage from storage above axle. Or not worry about it as I am still under TT axle rating and this is the last trip with water in FW tank.

As far as towing goes with the 3rd ticket I felt like I had too much WD, front fender height was also back to unloaded fender height. 4th ticket was a very smooth tow. Front fender height is still more than half way back. Click image for larger version

WDHitch should be mandatory with your setup...

I don't think that's the question, he's asking about the weight distribution. I don't know what your max axle weights are - how does it tow?

You are correct, axle rating for TT is 3000 each axle, so 6000 combined
TV axle ratings are 3700 front 3900 rear

The only thing left that would go in the back of the truck is the generator which is not included in those numbers, weighs a little over 100lbs. As far as the camper goes still have to load food. I can easily shift 100 lbs of gear to the front storage, Currently only have captains chairs and outdoor rug in there. Currently I am not too worried about the TV as I currently have about 600lbs of payload left, more concerned about TT as I basically have 160lbs until I hit the Axle weight rating. The fridge also sits above the axle. Granted I won't have 160lbs of food.

You've probably towed more than i have, so take this with a grain of salt. The 4th ticket, which you said towed well, puts your tongue around 13%. Axles are under, measurements all work. If that setup tows well, I would start with that and keep an eye on the weight. Moving heavier stuff up front, and then increasing the WD might get you back to the same place and reduce the weight on the TT axles. You'd have to play around with it.
