I have been drooling over the Andersen for it's (lack of) weight for some time now. The only reason I haven't switched is that I currently use a B&W Companion and have always felt it's as good as they come...other than the weight. I'm having trouble taking the risk that the Andersen might not pull as well as the B&W does. It's good to see yet another praise of the Andersen...especially how it compares to another high end hitch like your Pullrite. Thank you for taking the time to write this post/review.

Why don't you get a spotter (DW) and back toward 90 degrees and see if you are going to hit the cab. At least, you will know if you have a possible issue or not. I, along with others will also be interested..

That was exactly my intent once we got to the ranch but it had started sprinkling with a big storm coming in decided to just get it parked and set up....besides I'd rather do this maneuver on grass instead of pavement.

Next time I move it I'll give it a try.

i went from a pullrite superglide to a pullrite superlite and as well so far love the hitch, love to be able to just pick it up and take it out when needed.
but we went to a 3500 DRW with an 8ft bed so we dont need the slider

I had never heard of this one. Just checked their website and see that it only comes in a version for standard bed rails. Since I already have a TurnOver Ball, this pretty much rules out the Pullrite version for me. It is nice to see another company offering essentially the same technology though.

Thanks Electra glide.. Caution.. I had an old boating buddy who used to always say "Back up until it sounds expensive!" That won't take much with your RV..

I use the offset ball to gain the 4" but it's reduced because I have my kingpin adapter reversed from yours (the collar is behind the kingpin not in front like yours). The kingpin change takes away 8" clearance. The combination is thus net 4" closer to cab. Still have plenty clearance. Reason for the changes is that moves the pivot point such that the entire pinbox rotates within the truck bed and rail clearance is aided. 12000 tow Mike's and still very pleased with the Andersen.

I LOVE my B&W Companion hitch that I currently use but this Andersen hitch has my attention. I really like how it looks and the light weight design... I will have to give this a serious look when I need to change hitches.
