Payload rating 2012, 2013 F250, F350 SRW

I will be ordering a 6.2 Super Crew 4x4 short box XLT.
If anyone has a similar truck I would like to know what does the yellow sticker on the door state for payload on your truck?

I have 2012 6.2 Super Crew 4x4 Short box Lariat. My GVWR is 10000 which leaves me with about 2800 left for payload when I weighed with my 5th wheel hitch, full tank of gas, and 2 adults / 1 9yo.

Doesn't the F250 and F350 have different ratings?

Yes, a higher GVWR, but not sure how much more.

Thank you!
That is what I wanted to know. My current payload is 1520 and I want to (approx) double it.
The Lariat is a heavier truck than the XLT, yes?

Yes, in some configurations the 350 has less payload or the difference is as little as 100 lbs.
The price difference is pretty consistent at about $1000. Some say that the only mechanical difference on some configurations is the rear spring pack and spacer. That's a lot of money for springs!

My 2013 F350, 6.7L, Lariat Package, SRW, Short bed Crew Cab, 4X4 has the 11,500# GVWR package with a payload max of 3,418 pounds, per the door sticker LT 275/65R20 load range E tires, 60psi front, 80psi rear.

Hope this helps. Have a good day.

Dave

I have a 2012 F250 XLT super crew short bed with the 6.2 engine. My yellow sticker payload capacity is 2800 and change. Not sure of the exact amount since I'm not near the truck right now. I know I doubled my payload capacity of my Tundra of 1395 lbs.

That actually mirrors my available cargo weight when loaded for my lariat.

I've been doing some reading and studying and taking notes.
I'm going to the Ford dealer Saturday to look and talk.
The dry tongue weight on the TT we're looking at is 973 lbs. I will have 2 full LP tanks and 2 batteries on the tongue. I like to strap the awning mats on there too. The slide out wardrobe and the bathroom are in front of the axles. Loaded tongue weight? I'll be generous and call it 1500 lbs.
I need the 1500/15,000 lb hitch. I cant's get a bigger hitch unless I go to the freight train 8 foot bed.
The F350 with the 6.75 bed 10,600 GVWR has a 3820 lb payload.

3820
Tongue weight 1500
Me 210
Laurel 115?
2.5" WDH Hitch 150?
Dogs, toolbox, tools, chairs, bikes, wood, aftermarket stereo, etc.
leaves me with 1400 lbs +-. Let's be extra heavy and that would leave me with 1200 lbs of available payload.
The GVW of the TT is 10,400.
GCWR of the truck is 22,000.
The base curb weight is less than 7,000.

All looks good to me or did I miss something?

We just purchased a 2013 F250 Lariat 6.2 4x2 with 3.73 gears. Here is the info from our sticker

The GVW is 10,000 and the payload sticker says 3195.

We have not yet towed the Rockwood yet but we are looking forward to our first trip. We upgraded from a 2001 F150 5.4.
