Hello Forest River Owners,
I’m wondering if other folks' pin box Mount on their trailer is like mine.
The front of my 07 All Am Sport Fifth wheel rides high when hooked up to my 04 4x4 Chevy dually. The trailer is not level.
Here is a picture of my Trail Air pinbox Arm where it attaches to the Mount on my trailer.

You see six well-turned bolts on this side. I put it back the way it was to begin with. That’s what’s in the picture. Still riding high.
I tried unsuccessfully all day yesterday to move the pinbox Arm further up into the pinbox Mount on the trailer. I tried to move it one set of holes, but the holes won't line up. Look at the picture. The hard corner (labeled “A”) hits the rounded part (labeled “B”) preventing to holes from lining up. It does the same thing on the other side.
Evidently I need to cut these two corner off.
Strange thing is, you’ll notice from the picture that the corner labeled “C” is already cut off. Same on other side. Was the pin box Mount installed backwards at Forest River? I ddoubt it…just asking.
Cutting those corners? I have a nice hand grinder, but I’ve never cut anything that thick. Torch?
Fairly big question: If the Mount was installed backwards, have I got any other issues to worry about? Are the holes level or at whatever angle they’re supposed to be at? This seems important.
I appreciate the advice. You guys are awesome.
