Pleasant Surprise

The cruise control quit working on my Ford truck so I took it in to the dealer yesterday for repair. The problem was the brake pressure switch assembly which they replaced. The pleasant surprise was the repair was covered under my extended warranty and there was no charge. The charge would have been $251.20.

My truck has 63000 miles on it and it is six years old so I was taking it for granted that the truck was out of warranty. Even though I had a 6.4 diesel engine I bought the extended warranty because I had read so many horror stories about the 6.0 diesel.

I donít even know where the paper work is for the extended warranty. I guess Iíll go looking for it today to see what coverage I have.
