The trailer has brakes and is expected to "pull it's own weight" if you will. A quick search shows the OP being a couple of hundred pounds over the specified tow capacity unless of course they lightened it up.
So for that 4.0 liter V6 I'd say yes it can pull it and obviously does.

You may not believe it but I can hardly tell it there, it really pulls quite nicely. As far as power goes that's not an issue at all..

I'm not the weight police but I always laugh when people say they don't even know it's back there. I'm sure your safe and all but I guarantee you know every second it's back there. That's a big big load for that van.

I used to pull a 18' Cheyenne pop up with this and I tell you it feels the same. If anything it actually feels better with this Andersen WDH. I will be taking it to the scales this spring...

Here's my .50 cents. If you're pulling on flat ground and close to sea level you'll probably be ok but, you'll never make it traveling in a mountainous region. Even with good breaks on your TT it'll push you around.
