Don't live by that info at that link. Check with the portal states your traveling. As long as you're on the Interstate highways in the states in between the portals you will be fine. Also, towing one other trailer behind a 5th wheel (like the pic above) is considered double trailer towing, not triple tow. Triple tow would be 3 trailers.
Lets not start this .... lets just say that the term "triple tow" means whatever the DOT/Public Saftey officer in the State that pulls you over says it means ... !
Some States refer to it as "double tow" ... towing two trailers and other States refer to it as "triple tow" ... tow vehicle plus two trailers. There is no right or wrong answer here. The meanings are inconsistant between States.
