Ed, I have a windmill like that at my hobby farm. It's a 1937 Aermotor. Had it overhauled and it pumps water like a champ!!

This is actually up at my Sis-in-law's house in Nebraska. As far as I know it still works (or did a few years ago anyway). They just don't use it anymore. It does make for some great photo ops though!

First picture is at one of the continental divide stop points at Yellowstone (this one was 8391 ft). Second picture is at 1880 town, SD parking lot with a storm coming in at the background (had to stop while that one passed, it was ferocious).
