The Reece Dual Cam works great but it does make a lot of noise especially when you make a sharp turn. I have towed at 75 mph just to see if it would sway and it did not. I normally do not tow over 65mph. I am in no big hurry.

RE the Reece dual cam noise - Reece says if the creaking/popping gets to you put a little Vasoline between the bars and cams. Tried it and it works! Just a very light coating works, doesn't affect the sway control at all.

X2, the tech who set up our hitch said the same thing...use Vasoline not grease. It's supposed to be a "friction" point and Vasoline lubes it just enough to stop the noise but not that much of the friction factor.

Rest Stop in Paducah - going to quilt museum with the crafty one. Had a great lunch at the Whalers Catch across the street from the museum and a stroll on the Ohio River front.

I'd have to agree. Max payload for an '09 SLT QCSB would be 2k. A 10k fifth would already exceed that at 20% pin weight and that Sabre is over 10k dry according to Palomino's site... and that is minus hitch and passengers.
