Here's our Shockwave ready to head for the Oregon coast.
Had a class reunion to attend and some motorcycling to do. Got that taken care of now we are in the southern part of Oregon, Klamath Falls, in the upper 90's, that isn't my idea of motorcycling weather.
By the time we get home I believe we will have covered 16 or 1700 miles and only in two states. We did get into Ca just a bit yesterday on the bike getting back to where we were camping. A campground called Sunny Valley. It is about 5-10 miles north of Grants Pass, a quaint little campground with lots of trees and no concrete or asphalt. Very nice couple just bought it a month ago and they have a lot of work to do on it but they have a great attitude. The place was full, lucky we made a reservation, of course being on I-5 this time of year we figured everyplace would be full.

Correct. We were staying in Sarasota and went that direction to visit friends stopping at several places along the way. Saw only one in the area acceptable but we still passed, certainly did not see everyone. Trying to think if more than one could fit my 43' 5er... don't think so.

2007 F-350 drw
While on the way to Mesa Verde National park a few weeks ago. Made the decision to replace the old 2002 F-250 7.3L with a new F-350 6.7L DRW. The decision was helped by the transmission on the 02 leaking all the fluid out of it.  The 2017 F-350 6.7L DRW is the best choice I have ever made for a towing vehicle.

Wow, congrats on the new tow rig. You practically tripled your TV in many ways. Once you get past the cost, you'll wonder why you were holding on to that ol' 7.3

Nice new rig !!! Believe it or not theres guys that want that 7.3 they have a strong following still the most trouble free of the powerstroke engines .

Loaded up this morning and ready to hit the road to Ocean Lakes (Myrtle Beach). This is the new to me 2001 Chevy Duramax Dually. Still keeping the 2500HD DMax though.

I live in Pennsylvania went to doswell Virginia 3 weeks ago took about 6 hours towing with lunch and 2 dog stops. Lol

Me too.... No chips or smoke for me though. I'm happy when I find one at a good deal stock. Bought my 2002 2500 back in 2010 (with 85k miles) for $14k. It's an extended cab long bed 2wd. Picked up this dually with 140k miles (2001) for $10k. It's an extended cab long bed 4wd.
Wife is after me to sell my 91 short bed 4wd Silverado though, but I'm stalling!
