Nope I never listen to dealers always do your own research or go to a weigh station. Man looks longer but I am going from a 32’ 5th wheel to a 35.6’ and thought that was huge, I could never go bigger then that way too much as our kids are grown only wife and I.

This one part of camping (re-fueling) I have not grown the patients for yet. I will, Waiting on people so i can get to the pump then wait some more for someone else to move. Then try to park it someplace to go into store for restroom and restaurant. This pic is not a truck stop but we do try to stop at them, but it seems car lanes are not that roomie for trucks and travel trailers. After 300 miles I found my bumper plug laying right where I put it when getting out sewer hose when we got to campground. I was surprised even windy roads through the gorge on I40 TN/NC border

Good to be gone and good to be home

Post up your towing pics!

I had a chrome step bumper on an ‘83 C10 step side I had...no rubber...just chrome. I had used slip joint pliers to assist on coupling my boat and left laying on bumper. Backed down a steep ramp, unhooked the boat, shook it off pulled out and parked. Fished, backed up truck, put on boat, pulled out and was checking things over when I found the chrome pliers on a chrome bumper...still there. That was 25+ years ago and I’m still amazed.

I have another amazing story I will share one day.

Left my battery box cover on top of the propane tank cover and pulled off. It fell between the cover and the front of the camper. When it landed it landed just so it was on top of the supports (cockeyed).

I drove with it that way for 8 hours. When I saw it I tapped it with my finger trying to grab it and it fell off and went underneath the camper.

Unlocked my tongue lock and put the key ring (with all the trailer lock keys) on the rear bumper of the truck. Hooked up the trailer, locked the tongue and promptly took off. 40 miles later over some curvy/bumpy back roads we arrived at our location. No keys in my pocket or on the turn signal lever where they usually were kept. Checked between the seats, under the seats.....my pockets again.....nothing. Started walking back to the trailer and out of the corner of my eye, there were the keys....still on the rear bumper right where I left them.
