Just be sure to stay on the north side of the park and the trains aren't so bad. I saw the quarter showers too but we never used them. I prefer the free shower of my camper.

Toby, the free shower in your camper is great, we do the same thing, although I have been camping at Louisville for years and back when we had a smaller camper with a smaller water tank, we were forced to use the showers. That was when the quarter showers began, I'm thinking 2004-2005. They told us they were using the money from the showers to build two new shower houses and they did, so I wasn't so upset using them. If I remembered right, we got a shower out of 50 cents or less... but I still (like you) love the clean shower in my camper. Just sounding in that at least they used the money to better the park, and not to take advantage of the campers.

Funny, my wife and I like it better then Mahoney as well. We have found the people seem to be nicer at Louisville, and the campsites more shaded, and larger.

The biggest thing though, is when we go to Mahoney (haven't since 2009) we want to swim, so we spend ? 6.00 each to swim. Then we take a walk and see the paddle-boats, another 10 bucks, decide to go to a Mela-drama (sp) and spend another 10 bucks... oh and the popcorn, another buck or two. Before we know it, we haven't camped, we've resorted... of sorts, and we've spent nearly 100 bucks with our camping costs. At Louisville we make things to do, play yard games, ready a book, ride our bikes. It seems like we have a more family oriented experience at Louisville. We go to Louisville about 10-14 times a year.

yes she is a forest river and the side rail is a whole rack system the previous owner had made so that he could hang a 40' canopy off the side of it when at the race track, i guess he licensed people for pro crg carts or something along those lines. i dont know the model number off the top of my head though

hooked up - ready to go

I'm going to jump onto this bandwagon! My 2010 Silverado 5.3L E85 motor, all the towing add-ons, 4.73 gears, 4-wheel drive. The trailer is a 2012 Grey Wolf 21RR with a few mods. The hitch is a drawtite with 1000# bars and a friction sway reducer. I haul a 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 LT. The carport stays at home until I find a way to attach it

Mikeetwo,
Is that a BIG DOG in your avatar? I have built some big motors loaded with nitrous, for some of my old customers for those wild rides. Nice TT and truck.

A few weeks ago, I was reading this thread and someone ask for photos of the inside of campers for the women. When I've come back to see them, I can't find. Where do I need to look? Was enjoying them and the ways and themes campers had used.
