Finally got our retirement rig. After looking for many years for the perfect rig in the fall of 2022 we bought a 2011 Ram 2500 Cummins crew cab 6 speed automatic and 30 hours later bought a 2013 Rockwood Windjammer 3008W. Fantastic rig, tows like a dream and a great layout for the two of us. Looking forward to a lot of travel in our retirement. Overall length is right at 55 feet, gross weight scaled 14,500 - 15.500 area, depending on how loaded down we are. If anyone is interested I can post the weight ratings and the scale weights when we first bought it.

Thanks. Purchased the Tundra last April. Two recalls - software related - but the truck has performed as expected. Currently have 5200 miles on it. I'm using the Equalizer 10K with the TT. Drove about 150 miles on Monday when we brought the TT home - smooth ride and plenty of power. We were on I-81 in Maryland, West Virginia and Virginia for about 1/2 the trip - plenty of trucks around and did not feel them at all.

I loved truly loved my 2014 Tundra bought my daughter a 2022 in December it’s just an SR 5 it’s night and day difference between my 250 and her Tundra. I wish Toyota would make a 3/4 or 1 ton

That was September 2011.

I am still trying to get warrenty service aproved from Dec of 2021.

Post up your towing pics!

East of St Louis at a rest area trip home from Rapid City SD to Kings Mountain NC, I think I need to find a sail boat forum since that is what it has felt like the last 3 days with the winds. I took a link out of my WHD to see of that helps, I still have 5 links under tension but bars not parallel. Wish me luck!

New Tow Vehicle - 2023 Expedition

2023 Expedition with the Max tow and high performance package. Ran the maiden trip with it last weekend and found the WDH needs adjustment. Going to do that next week.

Taking a chain link out helped today with the bouncing at bridge transitions and somewhat with big rigs passing, I will get me some 1,200LB bars when i get home, no wind today but outside temperatures were 95-98 so I kept the speed dow to about 63MPH we did see a few 5th wheels on side of the road with flat tires and several cars on the side of the road.

I understand your concern. Too much truck. Do you not pull anything heavy?
