Nice! It looks like you went up over 11,000 feet in elevation. Anybody try taking an RV up to Mt. Evans? http://www.mountevans.com/

I was hesitant to take my car up there.

This is our first trailer and we are really enjoying her. Our JGC did fine this summer on all of our travels. Those travels did not include any mountaing grades, only normal midwest driving.

I've bike-raced up Mt. Evans, which makes me a bit stoopid, but I wouldn't take an RV up there. There is a loop at the end, but it's very small.

Looks great! Our trailer has been only winterized for 1 month and glimmers of withdrawal are already apparent!

Thanks, just winterized mine last week. We stayed in it for a week just before winterizing it. Can't wait until next season...

Our last trip for this year to Lewes Delaware from Cape May. After our lunch at Dogfish Head in Rehoboth, we checked in at Frontiertown Campground in Maryland.

Hope you did some expensive outlet shopping in Rehoboth. The holidays are coming. :-)

Nah.....no money left......spent it all getting the rig on the ferry. Seriously...how much was it? In planning trips, is there a "ferry" guide one can find to tell us which ferry's are big enough to hold larger rigs?

You definitely want to reserve your spot in advance. Just call up and book it. Have the length of the rig ready. I'm at 50' 4" and cost 79 bucks one way, 140 round trip. Well worth it to me. The kids thought it was unbelievable.
Oh yeah, no rig is too large. On our way back they loaded on behind us one of those 10 axle monster cranes plus a couple more r/v'ers.

new here, here's 3 pictures that sum up pretty well how expensive my summer has been. (but the family is happy now)

previous rig - wife complained about it being too small

New rig - " I told you my darn F150 couldn't tow this thing! "

End result - I'm a happy man now

Note that the last pic the hitch was not yet adjusted, I'd simply pulled the unit home with everything setup for the F150, it sits nice and level now.

Funny enough- taking my camper on the Cape May/Lewes ferry is on my bucket list of things to do. I tried setting trips up this year for us to go from Delaware Seashore park to Cape May Courthouse, but they fell through.

Here is a pic of our new Prime Time 327RES behind the Ford. The TT is almost 37 feet long and weighs close to 9000 pounds loaded. Our first trip was the day after we took delivery, luckily everything started, stopped, and towed properly. I did have to add some pressure to the load bars before the return trip but that settled things down nicely.

The 327RES is a sweet camper and we are really lucky to have it.

Happy Camping!
