Our first trip out with the new 26TBUD. Love that camper. Just bought it that day and was waiting for my son to pull our old camper off the pad so I could back the new one in.

"Gozer II" on its maiden shakedown cruise. Just after the odometer ticked over the obligtory 1000, we stopped at the friendly U-Haul in Springfield, Illinois and rented the tow dolly for the rest of the trip home to SW Nebraska. A car trailer is in our future as we will be towing a modified Jeep.

Day two camping location near Mark Twain Lake in Northeast Missouri.

The 2006 Sierra 1500 4WD & 19RR Greywolf

Not slick enough to capture the picture yet!
Tow package on the Sierra 10 MPG seems to be about it. At about 70% capacity according to the manual. It looks like that's the norm?
I'll post the photo tomorrow.
Thanks, Chuck

Ed, that is 1 tight turn.....glad that is you instead of me.

But come on, bragging rights are in order for "the" picture. Even though the truck and trailer are not connected, I think that photo is appropriate here.

For the new members here that don't know it, Ed took 2nd place in the Forest River Photo contest last year.

Oh no Chap, the truck and trailer are connected. I was backing in, and my wife was taking the pictures. I've talked frequently about the experience of backing that thing in, and finally got some pictures of it. And we were returning from a camping trip at Lake Livingston State Park.

Cane Creek was one of our favorite Campgrounds on our 32 day 12 state trip. We will be back there some day I hope. We would recommend it very highly.

Ed, I was referring to your award winning picture (Forest River Photo Contest) when the truck with the truck and trailer not corrected. I realize the truck and trailer are connected while backing with your post # 111 picture.

Great job of backing into your driveway, BTW.
