On another forum there's a guy that recommends only using 70% of a pickups capability. I just chuckle to myself and leave it alone.

Very nice and I totally agree the weight police don't have a clue what these trucks especially the new ones will actually do and do very safely!! That does make me laugh about only using 70% of the trucks ratings!!
Nice to meet a fellow oil patch worker I have 12 years flow back experience and two years of other experience in the patch (drilling, work over, wireline, pipeline). Took me two years to find my place out here but now that I have I can't get it out of my blood!

For all the weight police and perfection people out there yes I know it's over "rated" cap and it is sagging in the rear but self leveling air bags are coming and the over weight part is just something I have to do to keep my job the truck handles it just fine the brakes are great and it has the built in sway control so it's not a safety issue because I'm not following the lawyer tags!!

Yep, that sure is a load and makes my 9,600+ TH GWR look anemic ... lol.
By the way, what is loaded on the goose? It looks like some sort of separator.

Very, very cool ... any issues being stopped triple towing? I know it is illegal in both Florida and Georgia. I would like to attempt this one day when we add a jet ski to our toy box.

It is a flow back separator for separating the water oil and natural gas from the wells!

... thought so.
Although not on topic, installing vertical swirl tube separator in my natural gas customer's metering station. Solids in my distribution system has played havoc on my regulators from the user being at the end of the line ....

Here's our Apex 151RBX behind our "new" 2011 Silverado cc/sb. I'm heading to our new winter storage lot as our generous neighbors that let us park it in their side yard for free are moving to Florida.

Pretty sure that's Blue Water Key, mile marker 14 or so north of Key West. Their website is Bluewater Key: OFFICIAL WEBSITE FOR Bluewater Key RV Resort, The Most Beautiful RV Camping sites in Key West!
