Here's a pic from Friday night, heading out to the racetrack for our maiden voyage. It was below freezing that night but the furnace kept us warm. Hopefully next weekend is a little warmer.

Love the Hot Springs campground, go there every memorial day with about 5 other families. Did you go in the river? Wondering how cold it was since the temps have been so low this winter /spring

It's one of my favorite places to be....I love Hot Springs. We have a group that goes in May every year and we had 28 folks there this year.
We kayaked from the top of the campground down to paint rock area, I think it's about an 8 mile trip. It was kinda chilly, I guess colder than it normally is when we are up there. When we got there on Wednesday the water was over flood stage a bit and was flowing about 15,000cfs from all the recent rain. By time we made the trip on Saturday in the kayaks it was back below flood stage and only flowing about 5900cfs. It was pretty wild to see that water up like that..

Thanks for the info. This is my 3rd going (and 3rd year camping) plan to make it many more on both

Those airbags make a heckuva difference. Nice, Steve. Very nice, indeed...

BTW, my brother lives in Simpsonville. Just retired from the BMW facility there. He loves the area...
