I haven't weighed it yet. The truck is about 8400 ready to go down the road. The trailer is allegedly 13800 dry 18k gross.

Huge setup there Jim a lot of weight but that Dodge probably pulls it like nothing. Long setup as well

The dodge does ok, it's one of the last 5.9 trucks and it's a 6 spd manual. My buddy has a 2016 4500. If I was in the market for a new truck that would be the one. I wanted to stay with about a 36' trailer but I wanted a 12' garage. I was looking at a fuzion, it was about 38' but it was the same dry weight and had 2 7k axles. The spartan is 39' with 3 7k axles. That's the biggest reason I went with it.

slight overkill

I pulled this back from Atlanta last fall to Colorado. The tongue broke 50 miles from home and luckily I found a farmer that welded it back together. I was fortunate for it not being a major mishap.

If you're finished with that truck, I'll take it a couple of laps!

I love my truck! Just glad the price of diesel is reasonable!

How do you like the Duramax, the more and more I see those the more tempting it is getting love the exterior look on those trucks not fond of the interior but overall really nice.

I think they are a tad bit cheaper then the Fords and Dodges too but I have only looked at Fords for now

They have always been trouble free for me. The last one I had was an 03' that I sold when diesel was pushing $5/gal. Stuck with the GMC gasser until oil prices came back down. I think they have a great ride and will pull just about anything without effort. Have you seen the digital dash in the 15'-16's? I think it's head and shoulders above the others. I do like the new front ends on the 16's. Just waiting on the HUD option like the Acadia's currently offer before I get the bug again. Probably 2017 models.
