So you took the truck in for some other problem and they flashed it, or you took it in just for a flash?

Took it in for a diesel exhaust fluid error, message appeared that said 50 miles until 50mph limitation. They did what they did to check and reset it but have no idea what the code was or how to fix it.

Just being nosey.....I had the diesel fluid code last year 700 miles after total service and fill of DEF. I topped it off 300 miles later and had no more issues. Wondering if the DEF was low or a bad code?
Hope all works out for you friend.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully they will get it fixed.
Had the same problem on a Friday night last year as we started a 200 mile trip with tow... Truck only had 1500 miles on it....I was fuming. Stopped at home to fill DEF and to my surprise I forgot to put the diesel cap back on after my fueling 20 minutes before. Didn't think that could even possibly be it as it was a DEF code not a service engine soon light like on a car. Topped off the DEF while I was home (very little added) and figured we would take it for a quick 5 mile drive just to see. After 2 miles the DEF warning went off and has never returned.

1st time out in our 3008w
A short 225 mile trip to Hunting Island SC. For 1st time RV users everything went just fine. No surprises from the Windjammer. Did find out I am real rusty using a charcoal grill. It took 3 adult beverages for the coals to heat properly. Our weather was perfect and the unit towed quite well. Ford F150 5.4l tows great, go slow swing wide. Next trip to Sanibel Florida on 4/8 for a nice warm week.

I had this a couple of weeks ago, but never got the 50mph limitation. Mine was an actual CEL code. They ended up replacing the "Reductant Pressure Sending Unit". I.E. the DEF fluid pump. No problems since they changed it out. Good luck.

Yea, we had a good time. We had a 12 camper group; lots of laughs, eating, and drinking!

Yea, that was the deal with the DW. I wanted a new truck and she got to color coordinate. I would of just gone with white.
