Procedure for dually tire rotation

What is the accepted procedure for rotating tires on a dually? After my first visit to the dealer I purchased the truck from they scratched the heck out of my wheels and have since said all I need to do is rotate the tires right to left and not brake them down. I have also been told to leave the tires as is, keep the air pressure up and replace the fronts twice as much as the rears. As I am new to dually ownership any advice would be appreciated.
