ProPride on a Signature Ultra Lite TT

We have a 2016 8312SS, and are using a Blue Ox Swaypro. Looking for anyone that has a proppride on signature ultra lite tt with the undermount coupler, or anyone with a undermount coupler on a tt using the propride. I am concerned about the ground clearance and also if the tank holders will pose any problems with mounting the u bolts for the yoke. Seriusly considering upgrading our hitch. Any info is appreciated.

What is your problem with the Blue ox? Do you have scaled weights to see if it is set up correctly?

nothing to much wrong with th ox, cat scale tickets are all good, just do not like the counter steering from the suck and push when being passed by other vehicles.

You now have a 31 foot sail behind you. Look at it that way. If you are dead set on dropping 2500 bucks on a Propride, then take some pictures and give Sean a call and discuss.

Pro Pride Hitch

We put a pro pride hitch on our 35 foot 2013 Rockwood ultra lite and it does not sway when trucks pass us by and our speed is kept around 60 to 65 mph well worth the price it makes us fill a lot safer when traveling:

We have a Roo 21SS with a ProPride, towing with an '06 Toyota V8 4Runner. Absolutely no sway when being passed by semi's, and when I was towing with an '07 Toyota FJ Cruiser (shorter wheelbase), the trailer never swayed in sidewind gusts up to about 40 MPH -- it just pushed the entire tow vehicle/trailer as a unit, but was never an issue. IMO, what the ProPride cost was way worth it in comfort and confidence in towing a "big & tall" (compared to the TV) trailer with a somewhat little TV.

We have the Hensley Hitch on our 2013 Flagstaff Classic Super Lite. I can tell you that your sway problem will be greatly diminished. I some times now realize that a semi is right beside me when I see it out of the corner of my eye. It has not thrown me off the roadway and is not sucking me into its slipstream. I believe the Hensley is very similar to the ProPride (not wanting to start a long comparison).
We are camped on the Kentucky River at the moment so pictures will have to follow in a few days. My hitch bar has a 4" drop so the spring bars do hang low and I have dragged them once. The tanks position was not a problem on my rig.
I need a few adjustments that I will accomplish in a couple of days on the way home, but I will not be hauling 35' of trailer behind me again without one of these hitches.
PM me if I can answer more questions.

Several used units have been on the classifieds here. That is where I got mine last fall. If u r close enough to pick one up in person, u can get into one for $1200-1400. Shipping is not a financially wise option due to weight. Have towed 1,000 miles with ours so far and it is awesome.
Good luck and best wishes.
