I have just put airbags on my dodge 1500, my question is should my camper be level when towing it? When my truck was slammed the camper was level, Now with the airbags it leans to the back.
Yes, you want the trailer level. Adjust the hitch height or pin box height the level it back out again. What trailer are you pulling with your 1500 dodge?

I have a rockwood 8281ss and I do have bed rails but I have plenty of room to drop hitch. I have about 70 psi. The truck is sitting level hooked to camper.
Had to slam hitch to last hole and camper barely sits level, have about 20 psi in the air bags. Have about 6 inches between bed and camper, I will remove rails when we go camping, it only takes about 5 min to take them off. The air bags are awesome.
As long as it close to level, with the front a tad high, you'll be fine.
Its just the guys you see going down the road with the rear of the fifth almost dragging on the ground that are dangerous, and dumb.

Agreed, my nose is a Hair Higherbut only by a inch or two, and with the air bags it does ride totally differant, and I have about 6" clearance
