Pulling Level

I've gone from a Ram 1500 with airbags and a 5th wheel hitch that measured 16" off the bed floor to a Ram 2500 with no bags and a B&W Companion set at it's lowest setting of 16.25". I hooked up to the camper today to check everything out and it looks like I'm riding a little nose high now. It looks like I have about 6-6.5" from the camper to the top of the box wall son the truck. It also looks like I could move the pinbox up one notch and it would be topped out. How much is too much when it comes to towing nose high? What's the minimum amount of space from the bedrails to the bottom of the camper. I've heard about people doing a suspension lift but I'd rather not take that path.

How much nose high are you? Have you checked the leaf spring suspension on your Wildcat? It may have more than one mounting hole in the leaf spring shackle.

It's hard to say for sure, I'll need to get it to a good level place. I just hooked it up on my parking pad and I could tell that it doesn't look like what I had before. I looked under the camper enough to figure out I couldn't do a spring over swap because that's how it already is. I'll look again to see if I can move them any. Tomorrow I'll pull a tape on the bottom of the framerail and see exactly what I've got.

6" clearance to the bed rails is pretty standard.
