Pictures were supplied by the dealer, of the hangers and tires. It does have the Equa-flex system on it. The 5er rides just fine without them.
Can you explain how shocks can damage spring hangers?

Sorry OC , the hangers for the shocks bent toward the tires and rubbed into the side walls of the tires. Spring hangers weren't mentioned by me

So the shock mounts were weak. Just wonder why the mounts were not re-enforced or strengthened. Being an engineer, it sounds like the dealer or whomever designed/installed the shocks were lacking a little something.

I have bike tires that have to go pumped to 110 psi- do you think the same bike pump will work for this (so long as the hose reaches)?

To circle back to this- the bike pump worked beautifully.
