Question about setup

I have a 2017 Durango RT and just picked up a 2015 21.3x Palomino Solaire - (25’ total)
Total dry is 4230lbs with another 3500 capacity with a total GVR of 7600. My Durango RT tows 7200 max.

I set up the EAS WD Hitch with Sway bar and when it’s set up just slightly nose down (1.5”) I get a lot more tongue weight, sag rear and wheel well up 1” and I don’t like the way it drives—

BUT

when I set up the torsion bars to lift it slightly nose up (1”) I get a better feeling ride with less tongue weight and the truck is almost perfectly beside 3/4 of an inch rear sag.
I hope this makes sense.

I was always told NOSE DOWN is better than NOSE UP.

I can’t get it on a highway till this weekend.

Is 1” nose up a bad thing for sway?

Level or slightly nose down is preferred for sway reasons. Also, you are not removing any tongue weight by adjusting the bars. If you like the way the bars are set but want the nose of the trailer down some then adjust the ball down and then re-set the bars to get them how you like.

Sounds like you know more than most in your setup. Good job!
Nose slight down after hitched up is good.
Start looking for a bigger truck to handle your next larger trailer.
