Question for Honda CRV owners

I have a navigation system in my CRV toad. I had to install a switch to disconnect the nav/radio from the battery; otherwise, my battery would deplete after a long tow.

My cousin just bought a used CRV to tow without the Nav system. Will he still need to disconnect the radio from the battery? I've never been sure if it is the nav system or radio or both depleting the battery.

Thanks, Jim

I have a 2013 Honda CR-V that I was towing until I got my Wrangler mid-summer last year. I had a switch installed to kill the radio and I don't have navigation. It is my understanding that it is the radio, maybe regardless of what type, that has a draw when the key is in it.
