Question on Tradesman 2500 Seats

Narrowed my selection for my new truck down to the 2019 Ram 2500 Tradesman as that is all my retirement can fund. Have all the specs down and have taken a 30 minute test drive but would be really interested to know from long term owners if the driver/passenger seats are up top par for those 350 mile long haul days. My wife has back issues and needs relatively good seats for comfort.
Would appreciate any feedback

Thanks

"Back issues" can mean different things so just because it works for me doesn't necessarily mean your wife will be happy. I have some lower back issues from stupidity as a teenager, and assuming the seats are the same between the 1500 and the 2500 Tradesman I've done 500 miles/day, 900 miles/2 days with no ill effects. Fully manual cloth seats in my truck.

Keep in mind you can always upgrade the seats from a wrecked truck if they’re any different than the higher trims. On one Ram forum I’m on, there are threads specifically for the Trademan editions and what mods they’ve done and what it’s cost.

I have a little back trouble and have driven my 2014 Tradesman 180,000 miles in 42 months . My evil wife likes the seats and I see no problem with them .

We have a 2500 Tradesman and the seats are very comfortable. You sit up similar to a chair which I think is a big help in keeping the back comfortable on long trips.

The empty ride with the tires aired up will be more issue than the seats. I have herniated disc L4 and 3. No problems with my 2017, 2500, with the 6.7.

Find a last years model with very low miles, and treat yourself to an upgrade with a few miles on it!

8 hours in the seat on the 2500 we just traded. I have zero complaints, seats were pretty dang comfy if you ask me! Mine Was a 2016 though!

2014 Ram with cloth seats... power driver and manual passenger... I think mine are comfy... wife likes hers too

I agree about trying to find a year or two old RAM at a significant savings...

if you get the 3500 you wont have the annoying tire psi light come on when you lower the pressure to 50psi.

Question on Tradesman

Have a 2013, 2500 and wife and I think the ride is just fine. Has 10 ply tires and really a nice ride for a heavy truck. We think the seats are confortable. We are both near 70 and just pull over at rest area if we feel the need to stretch. You won't be disapointed. Good Luck.........

I have 14 ram 3500 tradesman cclb cummins, for the mosr part the seats aren't bad, but I do carry a towel to roll up and use as a lumbar support for the lower back.
