Hello everyone. I'm about the buy a 2016 wildcat maxx 28 the dealer swears my 2016 tundra can pull it i have the 5.7 and it can tow 10000lbs the max tounge weight is around 1200. On paper all is well I just wanted some feed back from people who already have been towing campers for awhile. Thanks for the help

You're missing the more important spec, payload capacity.

What is the driver's door yellow sticker say is the truck's payload capacity is?

1/2 tons run out of payload WAY before they come close to the towing capacity.

I would think if "on paper all is well" means you've looked at tow/payload etc and it's rated to handle all that, it should be good to go.

We recently sold the truck camper and bought our MH, but the yota sure didn't seem to have a problem with this load.

I tow a 2016 coachmen catelina 293dds with a 2012 Tundra. I don't even notice it behind me other than me a little hard on gas. Only thing I did to truck was put airbags in. They are a must.

I definitely plan on getting airbags. What brand are you using and how do you like them? Thanks for the help

I installed Firestone ride rite 5000lbs air bags. Very easy to install. Very easy to use. I ran the lines to my back bumper and use a little compressor to fill them. It makes a big difference towing, even with wieght distribution kit.
