I have the 6.4 l hemi in my 2500. I get 17 around town. Towing is 10 mpg. The rear suspensions is great while towing. I have no complaints at all. This truck gets better gas Milage than my old 5.7 half ton and my 2012 CTD. Very happy so far and no shortage of power. I didn't notice the gas mileage improvement u til I turned 10000 miles. Once that happened it got a lot better. I have 2 of these trucks, I own. Landscaping business. Both 6.4 L and both have about the same performance.

The 6.4 Hemi is not worth the extra and the MPG is less than the 5.7.
You're getting 12.6 pulling with a 5.7 gas? I'd keep that one, you've got better numbers than the diesels.

I assume your loaded camper weight is around 7500lbs...most gas trucks with that weight are getting 9-10mpgs on a good day...12.6 MPG's with your 5.7?...is that hand calculated?
