I have always had air bags in my 1 tons as well. . The newer trucks all have very soft progressive springs that helps the ride while unloaded, but allows the trucks to squat fairly easy. The bags help with that and the WDH will as well while towing

I may be wrong, but I don't think those guys who deliver RVs to dealers ever use a WDH and most of them use Ram 3500s. They likely upgrade the receiver hitch to a commercial duty model but for a Roo that probably isn't needed.

That's kind of what I was thinking but have not had a truck like this before. I just got rid of my f150 for it and it's a monster. Thanks for the reply

Don't know squat about 5ers. 2300 lb payload? How much do you put in it?

If you asked your buddy that owns a gasser if he would like to take your truck around the block and go ahead and stand on it once his wife would be so pi$%#d off at you.;o)

I have a 2014 with 3.42 gears. I get 18-20mpg unloaded and 10mpg towing my 365VTSB 5th wheel. Wish I had 3.73's though.

I was thinking the same thing, I've got the same truck but a 2012. I'm nowhere near maxed and I have everything I could think of thrown in there.

2015 Ram 2500

Been thinking about upping to 2015 Ram 2500 4X4 from my 2013.

Like the idea of factory air bags, factory gooseneck and 5th wheel setup, and going back to 3.73 gears. I love my 2013 6.7 but wish I had these options. I know you can add air bags and change gear ratios but! New gears are about $2k -$2.5k and air bags I'm not sure of the price on them, plus the fact that there would be no rails in the bed would be nice!

Texas. I think the 2015 2500 only comes with a 3.42 gear

2015 Ram 2500

I'm not sure if you look at KBB and Dodge sites they show 3.73's but when you try to build and price them it deletes the 3.73. Will have to see if I get more serious about trading up.

It would be cheaper to buy the 3500 and I think it comes with 3.73 with 4.10 as an option... but I'm old... and I'm wrong a lot... Just ask her... she'll tell you!
