Ram 2500

Thinking about getting a 2014 Ram 2500 with a Cummings. Anyone have any mileage info. For some reason they feel people that drive Diesels don't care about mileage.
Thanks
Mike

I get about 15 around town, about 20 on the hiway, and about 14 towing. I don't know where you are but my dealer was good through the sale, but their service department needs an overhaul... big time!

Mine is a 2012.
Been 15-16 around town and 11-12 what little towing I've done with the 7500lb V-Lite.
19-20 on the hwy.

My '11 gets 10 MPG towing, maybe 14 or 15 around town. I drive it trailer-less so seldom that it's hard to determine my non-trailering MPG. Plus I have 4:11 gears, which were never offered from the factory with the stick. One road trip back from TN to PA, no trailer, it almost broke 16

And if you're gonna buy one, ya gotta spell it right. There's no "g" in Cummins. A lot of people do it, and it's a peeve of mine...

Mine has plenty of power... and it's surprising sometimes. My trailer isn't that big, around 7200 loaded, but the truck doesn't seem to know it's there. My next trailer looks like it will have a GVW of about 11000, and I'm not worried about it...

Ours runs about 16 in town and 21 or 22 hiway. 14 or 15 with 2604 loaded. Old ram 1500 was about 9 or 10 average. Best of all the uphill side of the Smokies went from 40mph to the actual speed limit. Just find a good local diesel shop cause the dealers shop is worthless.
