The part I am interested in is the 3.0 VM diesel. But you gas guys may like the 6.4l hemi.

About time they beef up the spec #'s on the Hemi...looks good, think the gasser version will get a lot of looks...still wanting to see real world test on the 3500 diesel @ 37K GCWR...that's stout!

I'm glad I'm waiting till late next year/early '15 to make my move. One question though, with all the talk of limitations on the 1500 as it is today...what benefit does the diesel give it?

Seems to me, it'd be able to tow much more from an engine perspective but still have the same frame/brake/payload limitations we see in all 1/2 ton trucks.

If the V6 has the same clout as my 4, it pulls good. And, it is rated at 80 ft*lb more torque than my current tune. It will be awesome for people who want to tow within ratings and pull the hills.

They need to put the new hemi in the 1500 with the 8 speed. I wouldn't buy one but I'm sure it would be pretty sweet.

All good stuff except that stupid capless gas tank. Who ever thought that up should be shot and has never driven in the coutry on dirt roads. I have that on my Escape and once every few weeks I get the check filler message and have to clean the stupid seal as dust gets into every thing when you drive on dirt roads all the time.
