I also installed a T fitting when I installed my Air Lift 2000 lb air bags. I have never had a weight shift or distribution problem with my setup.

I'm towing with a 2015 Ram 1500 Crew Cab and had a lot of sag and bouncing first trip out with our trailer. I spent a lot of time setting up the WDH so I knew that wasn't the issue. I installed the airlift bags in the rear coils. Used a T fitting for the two lines runs to one valve I mounted next to the license plate. The difference is night and day with sag and towing stability. I pump them up to max recommended pressure before hooking up the camper and deflate them to under 5 psi when I disconnect.
The kit was cheap, right around 100 bucks from E-Trailer and came with everything needed. Simple install too. I jacked the truck up but was able to leave the tires on, just removed the wheel well liners for access. I felt this as the better way to go over swapping to a heavier spring. I wanted the truck to ride stock unloaded when not towing since its my DD.

In addition to the airbags what really helped in towing stability was switching from the P rated tires that came stock on the truck to a LT tire.

I installed Timbrens and LT tires. Seems to do the job.

I have used these on my ram 1500 4x4 for 7 years and never had any problems. They are very sturdy and very easy to install. You can run a max 40 lbs in them for heavy loads and they do not make the truck run harse or bounce. It is the Amazon choice and a great Company https://www.amazon.com/LIFT-60818-10...xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==

I had a similar setup to yours. I had an 09 1500 cc 4x4 and have a 2016 grey wolf 26dbh. It sagged terribly and i used the e2 setup for 10k pounds. I installed the air lift 5000 kit with the onboard compressor. It made a huge difference for ride height. But.... I never really liked how the truck pulled the trailer. I was pretty close to maxing out the payload. I sold that truck last year and got a 14 ram 2500 cc 4x4 and what a night and day difference towing a heavier truck makes.

AirLift Bags

AirLift 5000’s has an easy install kit for your vehicle. They can easily be installed by one person and make a works of difference. I installed the AirLift 7500 series in my Ram 2500 and the difference was immediate. Now I have no sag when hooking to my fifth wheel, or when loading the truck bed. I would suggest these to anyone.

I have a pair of Timber Grove airbags on my 2017 Ram 1500. Absolutely love them, easy to install. Meant for the Ram. Obvious only helps with sag or squat or whatever you want to call it, does NOT increase your towing capacity. Definitely helped with the ride.

Like Frank said, Steve is very helpful. Had an issue with losing air, he emailed me right back with a simple solution. Impressive customer service!

Air lift makes 1000 lb air bars that are simple to install for $99. You put 20 psi in them problem gone
Shocks won't fix the problem.

Sagging Ram

Camp Chairs, Food, Rugs, Tool box, planks for leveling and clothes.
Since last October we have been out 7 times and I have noticed more sag. I brought the WD chains up to the recommended length, 5 links. Still sagging, and I have noticed alot more bounce since the beggining of the season. I would like to replace the rear shocks with a heavy duty shock or adjustable shock.

Would you be able to give me some recommendations. Done research on the Rancho RS9000XL, Monroe Air and others but not sure what is the best.

Sorry so long but wanted to give you all the specs.

Thank You in advance! John
I have a Ram truck and use Airlift Air bags in my springs. When pulling my trailer I put 20lbs pressure in them and when not 5lbs (recommended by Air Lift) in them. It helped a lot with the bounce on the terrible highways. I have Fastway E2 hitch and with it my truck sits level and no sag, the air bags are for controlling the rocking horse movement on certain highways like we have here in Michigan which the WD hitch doesnt do. You can get Air Lift 1000 bags for about $100 or less from Amazon or E-bay. You can install them yourself, but the first bag is a bit of pain till you figure out how to do it, then the second is a piece of cake. It will take you about 2 hours of labor, Jacking up the truck, removing the wheels, removing the wheel well liner and putting the bags in the spring and running the air lines. Instructions are easy to understand.

If you are getting more bounce then you used to then shocks will stop that . the ranchero 9000 are great shocks , I use them on my chevy 2500 and like that i can turn them down when not towing and up when i am . with the sag then new springs or airbags .

A good friend of mine put a Timbren SES setup on his Ram 1500 and really likes it. It literally changed a white knuckled towing experience into a pleasure.

He pulls a 27' Wildwood TT.

I would check with etrailer. They offer a suspension enhancement kit. It is real easy to install it also has 2 settings either a 20% load or 40% load for how much load you want to use.

Don't forget, he's never been on a set of scales and he has no idea that the 750 lb tongue weight that he totally is clueless about is likely more around the 1,100 - 1,300 lb real life weight.
