all RV manufacturers make these claims and technically, they are correct.
a minivan with just a driver, can tow these trailers, if it's a flat road and there's no headwind. in other words, in IDEAL conditions, which rarely occur.

Exactly man! We tow long trips; 2,500 miles, in the moutains; pulling about 5,500 pounds of RV trailer. In situation like that, you certainly donīt want to be anywhere near your maximum towing limit; more like 50% IMO. Pulling 90 minutes to the local state park is a different situation. I think you could do 75 to 80% in that situation.
