Reese Revolution hitch issue

On a camping trip this weekend I experienced an issue with my Revolution hitch. Usually the hitch can be moved easily by hand. When I unhitched it was tight and only could be moved by tapping it with a hammer. It was raining all weekend so I wonder if anybody has had this issue and how have you rectified the problem.

Have never been able to move mine around by hand or with a 5' bar on a pipe wrench. I did take the nut off and got the wear washer off and sanded it flat, sprayed it with lithium grease per manual and tightened the nut to 80lb/ft plus a little additional to insert cotter key, also per manual. Have towed in excess of 5000 miles and it still cannot be moved by hand or 5' bar.

Why is it an issue?

It really isn't a big issue. It just never happened before and also I like having the hitch straight when I go to hook up.

I am camping first weekend with the 8289WS and today I moved the evolution by hand. I have can of lithium c
Grease and will spray it before pulling out tomorrow. Despite the dealers recommendation I have greased all contact surfaces on the fifth hitch and the pin/wedge so hitching up will be easier.
