Reese Shank Recall

Just thought I would pass this along.

Anyone using a Reese Shank may want to look at this.

Called several times, finally got someone to call me back.
This recall is for hitches made after Aug 2010.

IF you know your hitch is older than that you aren't in the recall.
Don't know why they don't put that in the recall PDF file.

we got a letter about this from the dealer...checked our hitch and looks like they ended up using a different shank from the equ-i-lizer when they put it on-, and put it together with the reese, not sure why they did that when they out on our hitch, but at least its not the same part being recalled! ( sorry if my wording is wrong, im just a typical girl!) lol

Mine had no legible number like they show in the PDF file but I'm
way older than the recall date so I'm ok too.
