replacing bumpers on morryde pin box

our cardinal has the morryde rubber pin box which is going on 5 years old. i was over at the trailer cleaning it and i noticed that the front rubber bumper in the pin box has come loose from one of the two bolts that holds in on and was very close to coming loose from the other bolt. so i ordered replacement bumpers. it looks straight forward to disassemble the pin box, replace the bumpers, and reassemble it. i will torque the bolts to the specified torque. has anybody else done this and are there any problems or tips?

also, morryde said that i won't have to replace the main rubber spring for probably another five years. that replacement part is just over $200. has anybody had to replace it and how did you determine that it needed replacement?

thank you!

ps we leave in two weeks for out summer journey. i'm checking everything!
