I wouldn't be one to follow as I had a tendency to abuse my toys as I also use them to move snow, or do other things as needed other then cut grass. Both were worn out when I got rid of them with the wheel horse suffering a major lose of oil pressure when the drain plug for the oil pan came out.

I believe the old Wheel Horses were Garden Tractors,,, not Lawn Tractors ??? And yes there is a big difference !!!

Actually if I tried to move my 3 ton TT with my Deere riding lawnmower I would end up on TV. "America's something or other".

Wheel Horse made both Garden Tractors and Lawn Tractors. I had the lawn Tractor. {32 inch cut, 8 hp engine and lawn tires} I made up a bracket for the back that would pull the plow attachment. It came with a dozer blade to push snow. I left the chains on most of the time due to what the lawn tractor was used for.
One work horse beast. I worked that mower to death.
I know now that moving that trailer wasn't the sharpest thing I ever did, but at least the hill wasn't steep and the trailer had a break away cable for the brakes so if I pulled it the trailer would stop. I was smart enough to never take it down the hill, only up.
Some of the things we did in our younger days make stories to tell setting around the camp fire now.

The only folks I've seen upset here are those that want to tow a Double Wide Mobile Home with a 6 cyl manual, short wheel base truck, and those that want to do something nutsoid and want approval first.

I'm curious now. Just how did you pull it down the hill to get it there in the first place?
