But seriously: Dry weight on sticker is 6700 lbs. I figure 7500-7700 lbs loaded. If you run the numbers it is close to the max for my truck, 2010 F150 with 7200 lb GVWR. FR says 867 lb of tongue weight so fairly close. I should have enough capacity to still carry the kayaks and bikes in the back. May have to put the dog on a diet!
How close are you to the GVWR? I am curious because I also am close to mine in my Ram.
And, what is the towing capability of your 150?
Ok you got me. I'll have to go on the diet!!! Door sticker says 1150 lbs payload for the 20" tires. The tires are a factor. Looking at upgrading next season. I would have to put it on the scales to confirm the exact numbers though. Kayaks and bikes are 200 lbs. I have had the truck weighed by itself with the family including the dog ( the non diet version) and it was 5987 lbs I think. I called it 6000 lbs. So that leaves me with 1200 lbs. I can go to 1000 lbs on the tongue. I would think 850-900 would be good. So ya I'm close. RAWR would another to measure. I think the GCWR is 15500 and the manual says 9600 lbs max trailer for my truck (5.4 with a 3.73).
Oh ya, Labzy, it's a F150. The badge alone would out pull the Bodge!
It'll be interesting. Our first trip is with my friend that has a hemi ram with a big 30'. Should be fun to compare notes and fuel economy. He said he would tow me too. I said sure, cheap way to get there!
