Well the ride home, no fresh water and repositioned WD bars was better. On some roads, perfect, but the worse the road, worse the bounce.

Never got as bad as having the tank full.

I'm going to call my nearby scales and see if I can get some time this weekend.

Took at trip to the scales this morning.

I"ll post the weights like this: Steer\Drive\Trailer\Gross

Fully hook, WD hitch on:
3180\3280\4680\11140

Hooked up, WD hitch not on:
2820\3840\4580\11240

Truck only:
3100\2940\00\6040

Notes: Trailer had 1 empty LP tank. Was loaded for camping. Truck lacked 2 bikes and a cooler full of stuff in the bed. Cant explain the extra 100 pounds except she might have caught me stepping on\off the scale after pushing the ridiculously high call button.

On the way home I drove with no WD. Truck handled fine, NO bounce.

Just to help you get over the feelings that it may never be correct. I have pulled my trailer with 4 different tow vehicles, having to change the hitch set up for every one of them. I travel down one particular section of road that causes just what you are describing no matter how I have it set, or what vehicle is doing the pulling. No where else is this a problem. When you are test driving after changing, are you traveling the same road. Just a thought. No matter what I do there are six miles of 4 lane concrete highway that mine bounces on and doesn't do it anywhere else. Could be that your WD hitch is fine.

If everything is level with no WD, I would hook up the sway bars only and go with it. If the tv can handle the load and sits level, nothing says you have to use a WDH.

It pulled fine but if I add 2 folks in the truck plus more stuff in the bed, I'm going to have an issue.

Based on those #s is my tongue weight 640#s? Are my 1000# spring arms too much? They do make an 800# for my setup.

Just based strictly on your previous post that it towed fine with no bars, i.e. no bounce, I would engage the sway bars and load it up and try it. Evidently the 1000# bars are too much. I would try to borrow a set of 800# and even a set of 600# and see what happens. Adding another 300#-400# to your weight will no doubt raise the ire of the wt police, but I would give it a try. JMO.

I'm debating going to Camping World and discussing a bar swap.

I wouldnt swap the bar for a lighter bar but that is me - I have a 2011 - 2306 and have the 1,000lb equalizer 4 point hitch

what WD hitch did you buy - I never saw mention of it?

reason why I say this is cause I had picked up my trailer empty and it was setup correctly from dealer and it was all over the place on the voayage home - after loading trailer with gear and re-adjusting the hitch setup - have had zero issue since

He's tried the 1000# bars in all manner of loading and they are giving him fits.
