Rotate WDH tension bars?

I have a Equalizer Hitch rated for 1000/10,000. My tongue weight is only 500-600 lbs, well below max. However I'm wondering if the tension bars should be rotated left to right or top to bottom to help avoid their "taking a set" or bending. They are showing no signs of problems, I'm just curious.

I'm not familiar with Equalizer, aside from seeing them, however I don't think there are different stresses placed on them depending on the side.

Just run them with the stickers on the bars facing outward.

I had an Equal-I-zer for 10 years until we got the 5er and I never thought about that. I didn't keep track of which side the bars went in so I probably 'rotated' them at least a few times.

I don't think it would make much of a difference whether you did or not.

Thanks. I suspect you are correct, just wanted to confirm.

My Centerline TS, (basically a copy of the Equalizer,) says to install the bar with the info stamp up.
No distinction between left and right.

Used the same bars (1,000/10,000) as you on my Equalizer when I had the trailers. Never rotated them and never had any problems in the 8 years we used them. Touched up the paint a few times, but that was it. They now have a home with another FRF member out in Idaho.
