Routing to avoid the pinch

OK, we recently upgraded from a pop-up to a Grey Wolf 26dbh (which the dealer assured me I would only need a WDH but that can be another thread). Never ever did I pinch the 7 pin cable with any trailer but I didn't have sway bars (yes I added sway control!) and weight distribution bars to deal with. Any suggestions or practices that you use when routing the cable to plug in the 7 pin to avoid dragging pinching severing or annihilating the cable?

Yes, technically I did pinch mine but it's more of a scuff and all systems still work, but I definitely do not want to allow it to happen again with less than favorable results.

Thanks in advance to any and all suggestions and humor!

I just figure out how much do I need to make a max turn, then I put a 1/4 cord around the wire and tie it to my bed in the truck, then I know it won't drag or come unplugged.

Have you seen this? Place wires through bail attached to pin and the 7 way will usually not pinch. Good luck

I haven't seen that, good idea! I'll give it a shot on my way up the Gun Flint Trail next week, where two cans and a really long string is your best best as there is no cell service beyond a certain point.
