Sabre sits high

I have a 19' Sabre 30rlt and a 18' ram 3500 diesel short bed. The sabre sits a few inches too high and tilts in the back while connected as my stock ram is too high.Is this something I should worry about? See the photos below. Thank you

How much Clarence from, the bed rails and the fiver? Room to drop the hitch? How much weight behind the second axle? Maybe 2 inches isn't that bad, but then again.

Does it pull ok? I would think it should be an adjustment you could make on hitch! You got to have clearance between bed rails an camper!

Sabre sits high

I know my unit came with equa flex. My understanding is equa flex and products like this help transfer some of the weight back to the high axle as well as provide a smoother ride. Some also provide more of a drop or more of a lift. Also in my opinion you donít look that far out of level. You can get laser temp and see difference in front trl tires versus rear tires if not that far off you should be fine

Pictures can be deceiving but it 'appears' you have considerable room between the 5th wheel overhang and the bed rails to come down a bit by lowering your hitch or moving the pin box.

Most folks go for 5-6 inches between the bed rails-R/V although I did get by with 4-1/2" on one 5th wheel we owned. Had to be a bit careful on uneven ground but never hit.

Some trucks can be lowered in the rear and many have done so. You might consider this if applicable.

The rails and fiver are about the same height. The hitch is an auto hitch and doesn't adjust. Not sure on the weight, total loaded is about 10k.

You may also consider raising the camper slightly. On my 2019 CC I've recently added 1/2 inch spacers between the springs and the axle perch. This mod sometimes requires longer u-bolts that I got from etrailer.com.
