scan gauge?

Thinking of adding a scangauge to my arsenal. One question for yous guys that use them. Will they show transmission temp? My v10 powered 2005 F250 has a transmission temp gauge, but it isn't a numbered style. Was going to add a better gauge and got to wondering if a scan gauge would do it plus more?

Thanks

Joel

I have a 5.7 hemi and it shows tranny temp. It didn't right out of the box but once I contacted the mfg. they have me codes to get it working.

Yes it will. You have to access the 'X' gauge section of ScanGauge and input all the codes related to your specific truck\engine combination.
It will read what the PCM is receiving from the senders. Hence, bad sender, bad ScanGauge info.

Thanks guys! Just seems like a much better deal than spend more money for one gauge, installed.

It is a great tool. There is tons of info you can get from it. It also can scan and clear engine codes.

I tried the gauge they have on the web for my engine but it didn't work. But they are great and gave me other codes to try and they worked perfect.

You will really like it
