Sell my hitch?

We down sized from a 5th wheel to a bumper pull. Wondering if I should sell the 5th wheel hitch. Is there a market for used hitches? It’s a “Super 5th,” and the frame rails are specific to my truck model. And I can almost guarantee I’ll buy a new truck before I buy another 5th wheel, so wouldn’t I have to get a new hitch anyways? Thoughts?

I've sold a used fifth wheel hitch. Just be specific in what truck its for and be reasonable on your price. Mine sold fairly simple because I was half the price of new but the other fifth wheel hitches on Craigslist were asking more than me.

I've sold 3 hitches now.

No sense in keeping it!

I went from a travel trailer to a fifth wheel and I kept the Equalizer hitch, I wish I had sold it. DS borrowed it when he got a camper

I had a TT up until 2006. My salesman said if I ever sell the trailer keep the hitch, but I was buying a fiver so I let the hitch go with the trailer. Now that we have a TT again, I had to buy a new hitch. The good part is, the hitches are better now, so I have a better one. So it’s got me wondering about whether or not to keep the fiver hitch. Those things are expensive now!

We purchased a larger fifth wheel and purchased an Anderson hitch. We sold our old hitch on craigslist in less than 3 days. Cash and the fella drove about 3 hrs to pick it up. We priced it at half the cost of a new one. It was about 8 years old.

I bought my 18K B&W 5th wheel hitch used. On craigslist for 450.00 dollars and it looked brand new. Guy used it for one summer.
