Short-Bed Tow Vehicles

Friends,

I am very curious on how you all have decided to tow 5W trailers. I know that there are slider-type hitches, pivoting head type hitches (reese revolution/sidewinder) as well as other options such as tow hog? (like a triple towed semi-trailer such as FEDEX/UPS/etc)

My question here as I have also set up the poll above is what option to tow your 5W have all the short bed TV owners gone with...

Thanks for your time and insight.

Happy Trails,

B n D

I have B&W in 2011 silverado 2500 HD with short bed crew cab. Have been in tight spots, but never had an issue...I call it anticipation driving.

^^^^^I would never make it into my driveway with out a slider, it is very long and narrow before it opens up and lots of big trees line up and down it at the approach and the wife will not let me cut them down

Auto slider

Pullrite 2900. For I few bucks I didn't want to possibly damage my new $60,000.00 truck.

All automatic here (Pullrite Superglide)...too much to remember already with camping, why bother worrying "if" I'm gonna damage my truck!
