Sidewinder Kingpin

My new Rockwood 5th wheel has a Reese Revolution Sidewinder kingpin box. I really like it as it allows a steep turn but doesn't require a sliding 5th wheel hitch. Since the hitch doesn't swivel at the kingpin, do I still need to lubricate the 5th wheel plate? I do have a lubricating plate at the swivel point at the back of the kingpin box.

I just lube the chute and the custom built wedge I made and spray lithium grease on the plate back at the trailer pivot per the engineers recommendation in Goshen last year. Love the setup. Get to use a full bed hardcover tonneau cover while towing.
