Silverado 3500 diesel

With truck off I hear a light noise. Nothing is on in the truck. Pickup cranks up fine. The voltage indicator is sitting at between halfway 9 and 14. The engine is not throwing a code. I can only hear the noise inside the truck. Any ideas

All the time or just after it shuts off? My new Cummins says the def pump can run on for a while after shut down to clear the system.

On a different truck I was able to at least isolate the circuit with the load draining my battery by pulling a battery cable, installing my multimeter as an amp probe and pulling fuses until I found the one that was causing the load. Maybe that would be a start.

I’ll take truck to dealer next week and let them look at truck. I hope it’s nothing to expensive, truck is out of warranty. I can change the oil in a truck and that’s about my mechanical ability.

Whatever is the problem it’s killing the battery. I’m going to disconnect the battery negative and see if that stops it

The map/gps runs even when the truck is off. You "light noise inside the trck" may be this sound. I checked with the dealer and was told this was normal.

I've never had a battery drainage problem from this, even after having the truck sit for two weeks.

Mine is a 2015 3500HD Duramax.

Took truck to shop to dealer today and said I had a bad radio, it seems the CD player was trying to eject a cd and would not stop. New radio, $577 with install.
