Slip on tow mirrors

Hey there! We have a 2015 F-150 and wondering if anyone has ideas where to get some slip on mirrors. We've called a bunch of places and they don't have them yet.

Thanks in advance.

How big of a trailer are you towing? I've found on my 2012 f150, towing a 23 ft camper, a margin difference from the factory non towing mirrors and the slip on towing mirrors.

I'm assuming the Cipa mirrors don't fit the 2015 f250

Don't know if they have changed the mirrors since 2014 but the Cipo slip on's I had for my 2008 fit perfectly on my 2014.

We've been very happy with these...

Amazon.com: JR Products 2912 Grand Aero Towing Mirror - Pair: Automotive

Was going to buy the slip-ons, but the dealer recommended the ones from JR Products, and they do work well. They said people reported mixed results with the slip ons. Seems they fit some differently depending on the specific model.

Glad you're looking for them! Since it's already tourist season through here so many people driving through or taking off in TT or 5th wheels without tow mirrors! Yes it's illegal, even some of the trucks with tow packages don't extend them. I was talking with a guy and showed him his Ford mirrors pulled out. He didn't even know he had built in tow mirrors and said he couldn't find mirrors that fit his Fords so I guess he was just hoping for the best in not seeing anything behind his trailer in his travels.

I bought these off amazon. Perfect fit, but they do take a bit of adjustment.

I want to say I saw them for sale in the Camping World catalog. Are you thinking of the slip on ones that use a large rubber strap?

Vin.

I have a set of CIPA like new that fit Ford F150 through 2014. Not sure if they fit 2015. $20 plus shipping. I upgraded mine to extending mirrors.

Hi we use the Jr Products Grand Aero Mirrors #2912. I've researched many different styles as I didn't want to buy vehicle specific slide on ones anymore. they fit well easily adjust and seem secure.

Trailer.com has the slip-on mirrors made for specific brand and model. They work great, no vibration all the way from WV to Wi to SD and back to WV. Price is reasonable also.

Slip on tow mirrors

CIPA 11800 Ford F-150 Custom Towing Mirror - Pair

I found these on Amazon.com. They slip over your mirrors and fit like a glove. No movement at all and they have turned out to be the best mirrors that I've ever had and a great price. We pull a Rockwood 32' fifth wheel with a 2010 f150. Good luck with your search, Cheers!

I use the same ones for several years. They fit great and work great, easy to store. They look good on the vehicle as well.

I am havng the same problem finding tow mirrors for my 2015 Chevy Tahoe. Anyone find any that will fit and stay on? The strap on ones I tried slip off because of the taper of the mirror.

I just bought a 2015 Ford F150 Ecoboost and stupidly forgot to add the tow mirrors as I thought they came with the max tow package (they do with the Lariat and above but not the XLT). Anyway, the slip on tow mirrors from CEPA (CIPA?) or FIT for the 2015 are not yet available - maybe next year. Ford changed the mirrors on the 2015 so that what fit the F150s before will not fit on the 2015. I had the slip on mirrors with my 2012 RAM and they were great. The ones from JR products will fit anything. You can buy a similar product from Camping World for about $25 pair. I had them and they worked well but looked like crap and that is why I got the slip on ones. At least they looked like OEM. Just my opinion.
